Thanks for the care package of great stuff, cool things and useful items. The whole team tore into it when it arrived. The letters from kids were great to read as well. Your efforts are very much appreciated by everyone here in Afghanistan. D. C. M.

I just wanted to thank you and all the people from Operation Gratitude. I just received my care package and I really enjoyed going through its contents and sharing some of the items with my unit mates. Anyway, it was a nice break so thanks for all your efforts. With much gratitude, LT K. K.

We received the wonderful care packages put together by the C, C and B Families and are most appreciative. Thank you very much for the box of goodies that you and your volunteers put together for us. We’re stationed at Ramada which is in the Anbar Province of Iraq. I’m a part of the 504th Parachute Airborne Division out of Ft. Bragg. Our mission here is basically to act as a deterrent so our forces can pass over control of Iraq back to the Iraqi Army. It’s not a glamorous mission by any means. In fact it can be pretty dull, but it’s important for our country to get out of this place. The less fighting we do, the more secure the country. Thanks again for the package from home. It’s nice to be remembered. SPC A. L.

We at the Local Acquisitions Office, Camp Eggers, Kabul, Afghanistan, are grateful. My 8 Air Force, 1 Navy, 1 Romanian Army, and 1 Afghan civilian enjoyed them. MAJ D. R.
